Here at Vernonia Christian Church, we believe and practice the New Testament ordinance of water baptism. Baptism is a necessary step in your spiritual journey of faith in Christ. It’s a natural result of faith! Water baptism is an obedient response in expressing your faith in Christ to God and to others.

When you come to faith in Christ, an inner change takes place. We lay down an old life in the baptistry and take up a new one with Jesus! Baptism is the outward picture of the inward commitment you have made to Jesus Christ.

It is the first step of obedience in your journey with Jesus and a public statement of your faith.
